Missed the call?
Keep the details.
When you’re on a job, CallCrate takes the message, writes it out, and emails you. Read it between jobs, call back, and check it off.

Waiting for you. Nothing was promised to the caller.
Stop digging through voicemail.
Start calling back.
Your carrier’s voicemail makes you play every message, scribble down numbers, and hope you didn’t skip one. CallCrate puts every missed call in one list, written out and ready to act on.
-
Forward the calls you can’t answer.
Keep your business number. We give you a CallCrate forwarding number and instructions to forward missed calls to it.
-
Callers leave a message.
They hear your business name, then leave a voicemail. No phone menus, no robots.
-
You read it and call back.
Get an email, read the transcript, play the recording if you need it, and check it off when it’s handled.
“Hi, my dishwasher is leaking. It’s a Bosch. I’m usually home after four. Please call me back.”
Your business.
Your call.
You decide who to call back, what to quote, and when. CallCrate never talks to customers for you, books jobs, or makes promises in your name.
Every message shows where it stands: new, in progress, or handled. Nothing slips through between jobs.

Straight answers about what CallCrate does, and what it doesn’t.
Is this an AI receptionist?
No. Callers reach a simple voicemail service, with no phone menu and no robot pretending to be you. They hear your business name, leave a message, and you take it from there.
What if a transcript doesn’t come through?
You can still play the original recording. If a recording or transcript isn’t available, your inbox says so plainly. We never fill the gaps with guesses.
Can I keep my business number?
Yes. You keep your number and forward the calls you can’t answer to your CallCrate forwarding number. Follow your carrier’s instructions to turn on forwarding once your CallCrate number is ready. Pick a preferred area code and we’ll match it when one is available.
Will it book jobs or handle emergencies?
No. CallCrate takes messages and you handle the rest. It doesn’t book work, promise callback times, or watch for emergencies. Callers are told to call 911 in an emergency.
What does it cost?
One plan: $29 a month, no setup fee, with voicemail recordings, transcripts, and email alerts. We prepare your number after payment. Then you turn on call forwarding. See full pricing.
